About the role#
As a Quality & Regulatory Intern, you will join our 12-week summer program to support the Food Safety & Quality Team. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment by working on risk analysis, data collection, and quality metrics. This role involves taking ownership of a specific project that addresses a real business need and presenting your final findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Own a project related to food safety, quality, or regulatory initiatives.
- Support the full project lifecycle from initial concept and planning through to implementation.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate processes and recommend solutions for improved quality, cost, or efficiency.
- Assist with project documentation, equipment specifications, and budget tracking.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, R&D, and marketing.
- Apply food safety principles to product challenges.
- Participate in workshops, networking events, and intern presentations as part of the Pure Ambition program.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status pursuing a bachelor degree in food science, biology, physics, chemistry, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear written communication.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Mathematical skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs.

- This is a paid, full-time, 12-week summer internship.
- The role is based in Aurora, Illinois.
