About the role#
This internship with the Kite Development Program Operations team offers the chance to contribute to high-impact projects within a biotechnology research environment. You will gain experience in cross-functional program execution while supporting the development of cancer therapies. Interns participate in professional development, leadership presentations, and local community volunteer programs throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Global Program Managers to learn about strategic planning and program execution.
- Apply core project management principles within a product team environment.
- Support change management initiatives by assisting with documentation, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to product and portfolio-level reporting through data gathering, analysis, and visualization.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of the Kite Operating Model to drive operational excellence.
- Showcase your work and findings through a final presentation at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biology, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented approach to managing competing priorities.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Modality: Hybrid (on-site presence required).
- Compensation: Paid internship including company holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees.
