About the role#
This Human Resources Intern position offers hands-on experience in a corporate setting within the plastics manufacturing industry. You will work alongside a supervisor and mentor to support business initiatives, process improvements, and data management. This role is designed to help you develop practical skills in communication, problem-solving, and business analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.
- Conduct research, collect data, and perform analysis.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for leadership review.
- Support the creation and revision of documentation, forms, and communication materials.
- Participate in meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
- Coordinate intern networking events across all company sites.
- Engage in professional development activities and training sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong academic standing.
- Demonstrated interest in manufacturing or industrial business environments.
- Previous internship, co-op, or relevant work experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to identify challenges, gather data, and propose solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
