About the role#
Teknor Apex is looking for a Recruitment Marketing Intern or Co-op to help build our employment brand and attract talent for our manufacturing, engineering, and corporate teams. You will work with the Talent Acquisition and Brand teams to create content, manage social media, and support our recruiting efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in the intersection of human resources and digital marketing.
What you'll do#
- Create content for recruitment campaigns, including social media posts, employee stories, and job advertisements.
- Edit and produce video content for platforms like LinkedIn, career sites, and internal communications using existing footage.
- Maintain and update our employer brand presence across digital platforms.
- Plan and execute campus recruiting events, career fairs, and plant tours.
- Design marketing materials such as brochures, digital signage, and email campaigns.
- Interview employees to develop day-in-the-life features and success stories.
- Track recruitment advertising performance and analyze metrics like application volume and social media engagement.
- Organize and manage a digital library of recruitment assets.
- Research competitor branding strategies to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging throughout the year.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, or Graphic Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to edit video using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Canva.
- An analytical mindset with an interest in measuring marketing effectiveness.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Comfort interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Photography or videography experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
- This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling term.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
