About the role#
As an Analytics Engineer co-op, you will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. You will work with modern Microsoft technologies and contribute to projects that impact how business leaders analyze information and make decisions. This role involves assisting with the ongoing migration from Cognos to Power BI, allowing you to contribute to production solutions while learning business intelligence practices.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and enhancement of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Assist with Microsoft Fabric semantic model development and maintenance.
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for reports, data models, and processes.
- Support the migration of enterprise reporting assets from Cognos to Power BI.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into analytics solutions.
- Participate in testing and deployment of reporting enhancements.
- Present project updates and recommendations throughout the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs and communicate clearly on the telephone.
