About the role#
The Supply Chain Planning Intern will support core planning functions within the Teknor Apex organization. You will gain hands-on experience in how planning decisions connect to procurement, manufacturing, and customer service. This role involves working alongside Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Production Scheduling, and Manufacturing teams on various projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with demand and supply planning, raw material buying, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Support SKU-level forecasting and product family taxonomy analysis.
- Contribute to S&OE/S&OP process development.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives like pigment harmonization.
- Help the team use AI tools to improve data analysis, forecast accuracy, and planning efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in college.
- Major in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, formulas, and charts.
- Strong AI skills and an interest in manufacturing operations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
