About the role#
Avient Corporation is hiring a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides exposure to HR Centers of Expertise and business partners. You will work on meaningful projects and interact with senior leadership in a global environment.
What you'll do#
- Act as a contributing member of the HR team.
- Gain exposure to domestic and international HR operations.
- Contribute to and lead portions of HR-driven projects and initiatives.
- Present your key learnings and project results to the leadership team at the end of the internship.
- Handle other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- A desire to learn and develop within the HR field.
- Prior internship experience is a plus but is not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
