About the role#
Avient is hiring a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2027. This role is based in our Corporate Marketing team. You will work on projects across several functions to learn marketing fundamentals. You will also build relationships with peers and leaders while receiving regular feedback.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects in areas such as research, marketing communications, industry marketing, digital marketing, and product management.
- Gain insight into Avient businesses from financial, operational, and strategic perspectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different business units.
- Provide market intelligence on trends, customers, and competitors to support management decisions.
- Interact with senior management and build professional relationships across the company.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
