About the role#
GeoEngineers is looking for civil engineering students for a Summer 2027 internship in Boston. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship from professional engineers. You will work on-site, spending time both in the field and in the office.
What you'll do#
- Monitor field explorations and construction projects while working under the guidance of our team.
- Document field conditions and complete required reports.
- Assist engineers with office tasks and project deliverables.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and analyses as needed.
- Organize and maintain lab and field equipment.
- Complete company training requirements and maintain field readiness.
- Follow and support safe work practices at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
