About the role#
GeoEngineers is seeking students for a Geostructural Internship during the summer of 2027. This role offers the chance to gain real-world experience through mentorship from professional engineers and scientists. You will split your time between field work and office tasks to learn the fundamentals of geostructural engineering.
What you'll do#
- Monitor field explorations and construction projects under the guidance of staff.
- Document field conditions and complete required reports.
- Assist with routine laboratory testing and data analysis.
- Help engineers with office and project-related deliverables.
- Organize and maintain lab and field equipment.
- Maintain field readiness and complete company training requirements.
- Conduct all work safely and support team safety practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to perform physical activities including regular walking, bending, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform consistent work on a computer.
