About the role#
We are looking for an mRNA Manufacturing Intern to join our team in Redmond. This is a full-time, paid position requiring a 40-hour weekly commitment. You will work on-site as part of a small, cross-disciplinary team to support our production goals.
What you'll do#
- Process DNA through PCR, digestion, and purification to prepare templates for in-vitro transcription.
- Perform enzymatic reactions to produce and process mRNA.
- Purify mRNA using HPLC and spin columns.
- Execute quality checks, including gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, and RT-PCR.
- Follow production S.O.P.s and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Manage material orders and document production processes.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Biology, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences related field.
- Experience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions.
- Familiarity with mRNA work is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-demand environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with peers and managers.
