About the role#
GenScript is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Intern to support the finance team with daily administrative tasks and basic financial operations. This full-time, on-site position provides an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate finance environment.
What you'll do#
- Organize, file, and scan financial documents.
- Maintain and update data within financial systems.
- Support monthly reconciliations and collect required documentation.
- Assist with the issuance of Certificates of Insurance and the handling of tax exemption certificates.
- Provide general administrative support, including meeting scheduling, document printing, and mail handling.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in cashier, treasury, or finance operations.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and cash management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP or online banking systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Location & details#
- Location: Piscataway, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $24 per hour, with daily lunch provided.
