About the role#
The LNP Production Intern supports manufacturing and quality control activities for mRNA-LNP formulations and related nanoparticle products. This role focuses on formulation, purification, concentration, and in-process quality testing while maintaining documentation and inventory standards.
What you'll do#
- Prepare buffers, reagents, lipids, and payload materials.
- Perform purification and concentration processes according to approved SOPs.
- Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, filtration devices, and TFF systems.
- Conduct in-process quality control measurements, such as particle size, PDI, Zeta potential, and encapsulation efficiency.
- Accurately record and review all production and QC data in compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Prepare final products for customer delivery through sterile filtration, aliquoting, labeling, and packaging.
- Maintain sample traceability and inventory management throughout the production cycle.
What you'll need#
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or biotechnology setting.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to follow SOPs and work independently following initial training.

- Location: Redmond, Washington, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $22 to $24 per hour.
