About the role#
The LNP Production Intern supports manufacturing and quality control activities for mRNA-LNP formulations and nanoparticle products. This full-time, on-site role focuses on formulation, purification, and documentation within the production team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare buffers, reagents, lipids, and payload materials.
- Perform purification and concentration processes using approved SOPs.
- Operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, filtration devices, and TFF systems.
- Conduct in-process quality control measurements, including particle size, PDI, Zeta potential, and encapsulation efficiency.
- Accurately record and review production and QC data in compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Handle sterile filtration, aliquoting, labeling, and packaging to prepare final products for customer delivery.
- Maintain sample traceability and inventory management throughout the production cycle.
What you'll need#
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or biotechnology setting.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to follow SOPs and work independently following training.
