About the role#
This Engineering Co-Op position is a full-time, on-site role based in Greenville, North Carolina. The program serves as a pipeline for future leadership talent, with high-performing students considered for full-time roles or leadership development programs after graduation. You must be prepared for geographic mobility, as future opportunities may require relocation based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Partner with leadership to identify efficiency gaps and benchmark against industry practices.
- Review specific processes to recommend and implement improvements.
- Operate specialized equipment and instrumentation with limited supervision.
- Create tools and models to improve tracking and operational efficiency.
- Learn continuous improvement methodologies like PPI and Six Sigma to support site initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments including program management, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Previous internship or work experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus programs, athletics, community service, or other organizations.
- A history of influencing others and driving results in team settings.
- Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Greenville, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Hourly rate between $18.50 and $28.75, depending on the role and location.
- Relocation: A $5,000 stipend is available for students living more than 50 miles from the work site.
