    About the role#

    As a Hardware Automation and Test Engineering Intern, you will join the Critical Infrastructure Communications (CIC) team. You will work on automation frameworks and hardware validation to support our communications products. This role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle and industrialization processes at our manufacturing facility.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform hardware and software validation for industrial applications.
    • Build automation frameworks in collaboration with the CIC Engineering team.
    • Contribute to the development of communications products for sectors like energy, mining, and transportation.
    • Apply electrical engineering principles to test automation tasks.
    • Participate in industrialization and product development cycles.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
    • Completion of at least two years of your degree program.
    • A minimum 3.0 unrounded GPA.
    • Experience with Linux OS, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals like TCP/IP.
    • Proficiency in Python, GitHub Actions, and the Robot Framework.
    • An analytical mindset for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
    • Ability to follow established design principles and development processes.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.

    • Modality: On-site.
    • Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
