About the role#
The Commercial Year-Round Co-Op program at GE Appliances offers students the chance to work with experienced leaders to meet business objectives. This is a part-time role requiring 20 to 25 hours per week during the school year, with the possibility of increased hours in the summer. Participants gain exposure to senior leadership and attend professional development sessions. Strong performers may have the opportunity to interview for a full-time position in our Commercial Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
Assignments vary based on team needs. You will support departments including:
- Retail or Contract National Account Sales
- Direct Sales and Owner Channel
- eCommerce and Lead Generation
- Parts Sales
- Marketing and Brand
- Consumer Insights and Pricing Analytics
- Sales Operations and Training
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a 4-year accredited college or university
- Bachelor's degree pursuit in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall GPA
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available)
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to changing requirements
- Self-motivated attitude and clear communication skills
