About the role#
The Commercial Internship is a 12-week summer program based in Louisville, Kentucky. You will work with Marketing and Sales teams on projects related to retail sales, brand management, product marketing, and pricing analytics. This is a full-time, on-site position. Interns gain exposure to company leadership and may interview for full-time roles in the Commercial Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research and trend analysis.
- Create product cross reference guides and competitive cross shop strategies.
- Perform social media deep dives and provide enhancement recommendations.
- Develop marketing, training, and documentation materials.
- Build dashboards and reports for promotional sales events.
- Support financial plans, product line reviews, and the development of PowerPoints or marketing assets.
- Learn the GEA product portfolio.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a 4-year bachelor degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall GPA.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
