Data Center Quality Inspector-Intern

About the role#

Fulcrum Reliability Systems is seeking a Data Center Quality Inspector-Intern to perform quality control services for data center infrastructure. This role focuses on the inspection of electrical equipment and systems to ensure they are safely installed and fully functional. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Omaha, Nebraska, with a rolling term. Travel may be required.

What you'll do#

• Perform inspections of switchgear, standby generators, protective relays, and other electrical distribution components.
• Prepare written documentation, including daily narratives and special inspection reports.
• Submit Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests.
• Review and approve team reports and time tracking documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with company and site safety requirements.
• Interpret and read electrical drawings and specifications.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering, or Physics is preferred.
• At least two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems.
• Current OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
• Commercial or naval nuclear experience is strongly desired.
• Strong analytical, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
