About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within our product engineering team. You will work on projects that span the entire product life cycle, from initial research and development to final lab testing. This role is designed to help you build industry knowledge and progress your career through practical application.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks across the product life cycle.
- Perform calculations to establish engineering standards and specifications.
- Prepare and study technical drawings and electrical specifications.
- Participate in research, modeling, and simulation activities.
- Support lab testing for research and product development.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment.
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and other stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited institution working toward a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency with a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Experience through hands-on college programs or related work in electrical products.
Location & details#
- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 5 PM.
- Travel: 5-10% expected.
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
