About the role#
As a Product Engineering Intern, you will work with our engineering team to support projects across the product life cycle. This includes research and development, modeling, simulation, design, and prototype verification. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to engineering standards and product requirements.
What you'll do#
- Perform detailed calculations to establish engineering standards and specifications.
- Prepare and review technical drawings and electrical specifications.
- Participate in research and development activities, including modeling and simulation.
- Conduct lab testing for research projects and product development.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software and design equipment.
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding technical issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and other project stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited institution, actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency with a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Hands-on experience from college programs or related work in engineering or electrical products.
Location & details#
- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 5 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: 5-10%.
