About the role#
As a Commercial Banking Summer Intern, you will work directly with mentors and team members to support our banking operations. This program provides hands-on experience within the financial services industry, allowing you to build professional connections and contribute to meaningful projects.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation.
- Develop loan packages and assist in making recommendations by assessing size, structure, and approval requirements.
- Evaluate borrower, industry, and market risks during the credit review process.
- Attend a weekly lecture series to engage with leaders from various lines of business across the bank.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or MBA program with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, which must be confirmed by a transcript.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site at one of our locations in San Antonio, Midland, Austin, Dallas, McAllen, Corpus Christi, Houston, Fort Worth, or Victoria, Texas.
