About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is hiring engineering interns for our Houston facility for the summer of 2027. You will work with our manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams. This program provides hands-on experience in industrial automation and digital transformation. You will participate in projects that improve operational efficiency and solve real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing data to find opportunities for optimization.
- Assist with process standardization and documentation.
- Contribute to automation and digital transformation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems.
- Present your project findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Rising Junior or Senior status with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship, research, or academic project experience in engineering or manufacturing is a plus.
- Interest in automation, data analytics, and process improvement.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Term: Full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States. CPT authorization is supported for eligible F-1 students.
