About the role#
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the recruitment team with daily administrative tasks, candidate management, and process coordination. This role offers exposure to the full-cycle recruiting process within a software development environment and is suitable for those pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
What you'll do#
- Conduct candidate screening calls to assess qualifications and fit.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate panels between candidates and hiring managers.
- Join hiring manager discovery calls to assist in clarifying role requirements.
- Source and screen resumes for potential candidate matches.
- Format and maintain job description templates and recruiting documentation.
- Manage spreadsheet trackers for candidate pipelines and recruiting metrics.
- Draft professional candidate communications and provide support for day-to-day team administration.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for tracking data.
- A genuine interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while remaining coordinated with the team.
