About the role#
This internship position offers the opportunity to support the recruitment team and work alongside a department of over 25 human resources professionals. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to various HR projects and administrative tasks throughout your session.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate interview logistics and manage communication between candidates and recruiters.
- Perform administrative duties related to employee administration, including managing employee files and system changes.
- Prepare employment letters such as confirmations of employment, probation documentation, and visa-related paperwork.
- Update and maintain the HRIS database using Microsoft Dynamics365.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the weekly new employee orientation on a rotational basis.
- Support the recruitment coordinator and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a College diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or an equivalent program.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good judgment and the ability to manage several files simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to new tasks quickly.
