About the role#
The Investments Intern role is part of the Winter 2027 internship program. This full-time, paid position is based on-site in Jersey City, New Jersey. Interns contribute to meaningful projects that impact investment operations and portfolio management.
What you'll do#
- Support the calculation of cashflows, risk metrics, and analytics for structured and other investment assets.
- Develop quantitative tools and models to evaluate new and existing investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with Investment Managers and internal teams to support portfolio strategies and investment recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence processes for potential asset acquisitions.
- Assist in preparing compliance and performance reports to ensure adherence to investment guidelines.
- Maintain data quality across investment systems and contribute to automated reporting and dashboard development.
What you'll need#
- Rising senior status pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or data science.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Familiarity with sophisticated data science techniques.
- Willingness to work towards the CFA designation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
