About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in food and beverage manufacturing operations. You will work on-site at our Lancaster, Wisconsin plant during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position focused on real business projects that support our production efficiency and maintenance goals.
What you'll do#
- Analyze Preventive Maintenance work orders to create clear standard work and reduce equipment downtime.
- Observe production roles to develop standard work by evaluating cycle times and Takt Time.
- Identify specific tasks to adjust for better operational efficiency.
- Support the SCORE/Proaction rollout by learning the technology and participating in problem-solving sessions like 5 Whys and 8D.
- Assist with supervisor tours, standard operating procedure creation, auditing, and safety observations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, preferably as a Junior or Senior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- A demonstrated interest in a career related to manufacturing operations.

- Location: Lancaster, Wisconsin.
- Term: Early June 2027 through early to mid-August 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, with some travel to other plant locations as needed.
