About the role#
Foremost Farms USA is hiring for an Environmental Health & Safety intern for the summer of 2027. This position offers hands-on experience in food and beverage manufacturing. You will work on projects that support our safety and environmental goals while gaining professional exposure to our operations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct machine guarding inventories and labeling.
- Complete Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) inventories and labeling.
- Update Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Hazard Safety Analyses (HSAs).
- Identify sustainability opportunities related to environmental KPIs.
- Map wastewater discharge throughout our plants.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in a related field, preferably with Junior or Senior standing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in environmental health and safety.
- Ability to travel to plant locations up to 75% of the week.

- Location: Based near our Middleton, WI headquarters.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid work options are available.
- Term: Early June 2027 through early to mid-August 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
