About the role#
As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our daily financial and accounting operations. You will work on projects that influence our brand progress while receiving mentorship and professional development. This is a paid, full-time summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Process invoices and resolve variances to maintain accurate records.
- Create and manage entries for financial transactions.
- Reconcile payments from various vendors.
- Support daily financial reconciliation activities.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of forecast versus actual results.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analyses for strategic decision-making.
- Use Claude to support your work, including data synthesis, research, and brainstorming.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program.
- Basic understanding of financial statements like the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles including debits and credits.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments.
- Strong work ethic, ownership mentality, and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of NetSuite is considered a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in either Boston, Massachusetts, or Bentonville, Arkansas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
