About the role#
This internship provides administrative support for Human Resource functions at Floridacentral Credit Union. You will assist with daily operations, maintain records, and support the team with various HR tasks. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Tampa, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Compile, scan, file, and maintain personnel records.
- Record employee data, including status changes, earnings, and absences.
- Assist with the pre-employment process by requesting credit reports for potential candidates.
- Answer questions from employees and candidates regarding benefits and employment.
- Input data and run reports using the Dayforce system.
- Handle additional administrative duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Human Resources course.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Two years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to prioritize multiple, sometimes conflicting tasks.
- A high level of discretion, as you will handle confidential information.
