About the role#
Five Star Bank is hiring a Summer Associate for our Wealth Management team. This program provides exposure to fiduciary responsibilities, investment advisory, and estate planning processes. You will work alongside our Courier Capital team to support financial planning and client service activities.
What you'll do#
- Conduct investment research and analysis to support portfolio management.
- Prepare financial plans, client reports, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate client meetings and respond to routine service requests.
- Review estate planning documents and assist with trust administration.
- Participate in compliance and regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative and operational processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, preferably with junior-level standing or higher.
- At least 1 year of involvement in clubs, volunteerism, or other activities outside the classroom.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is a plus.
- A self-starter mindset with attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- A genuine interest in wealth management and financial planning.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Buffalo, New York.
- We follow a hybrid work model.
- Occasional travel within the Buffalo and Rochester area is required.
