About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring an Intern Architect in Grand Rapids. You will work with our architecture team on projects across higher education, healthcare, municipal, commercial, and retail sectors. This role involves collaborating with architects and engineers to gain experience across the design and documentation process.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design development from initial concepts through construction documentation.
- Prepare building concepts, presentation materials, and construction documents.
- Create and modify project models and drawings using Revit.
- Research materials and products to support project development.
- Coordinate architectural documents with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited university.
- Prior architectural internship or co-op experience.
- Experience developing projects using Revit and SketchUp.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Interest in pursuing architectural registration.
