About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring an Environmental Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. You will join our environmental team to work on consulting projects, assist with technical documentation, and gain hands-on experience in the field. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Collect and assess stormwater samples and environmental data.
- Help develop environmental plans including SPCCs, PIPPs, HWCPs, and SWPPPs.
- Assist with permit applications and technical reports.
- Work alongside engineers and scientists on various consulting projects.
- Take part in site visits and fieldwork.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related degree program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
- A curious and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed.
- Previous field or lab experience is a plus.
