About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Civil Field intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will work directly with our Civil Field team to monitor construction projects and support site operations.
What you'll do#
- Write daily reports that document jobsite conditions and the work completed each day.
- Check that construction activities align with design plans and contract requirements.
- Help engineers and inspectors process Requests for Information.
- Visit project sites to observe how work is executed in the field.
- Share your findings and work alongside multidisciplinary teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and speech.
- Comfort working outdoors and traveling to various project sites.
- Experience in construction, field inspection, or testing is helpful but not required.
