About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Land Development Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time internship based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will work with the Land Development team to support ongoing projects and gain hands-on experience in the engineering services field.
What you'll do#
- Research development sites, zoning requirements, and environmental factors.
- Assist the team with feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
- Collaborate on site plans and design layouts.
- Draft real project designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Join site visits to observe how designs are implemented in the field.
- Help maintain project documentation and reports.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous internship or field experience is helpful but not required.
