About the role#
Fischer Homes is looking for an intern to join our team in Indianapolis for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will work directly with an Elite Coach to learn our sales process and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Please note that this role requires working weekends, with two consistent weekdays off.
What you'll do#
- Work one-on-one with an Elite Coach to master the Fischer Homes sales process.
- Complete Sales eLearning courses, including a full practice demonstration of the sales process.
- Visit competitor sites to understand and analyze unique selling features.
- Help coordinate community and Realtor events.
- Conduct prospecting calls alongside your coach.
- Ensure our communities and model homes are ready for customers.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage your own goals.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- The physical ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. You will need to work in various weather conditions and wear required protective gear like hard hats and steel-toed shoes.
