About the role#
Fischer Homes is looking for a Field Manager Co-op or Intern to join our team in Panama City Beach. This is a paid, full-time position available for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, or Summer 2027 terms. You will work on-site alongside experienced professionals to learn the new home build process from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Field Managers to oversee home construction projects.
- Coordinate with trade partners, vendors, and customers regarding project progress.
- Complete PACE eLearning modules.
- Use Sapphire software for scheduling and purchase order management.
- Observe home orientations and perform various job scope tasks.
- Travel regularly between different job sites throughout the day.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A focus on providing quality customer service.
- Ability to work in an environment that requires quick responses.
- Physical stamina to walk on uneven terrain, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in various weather conditions and environments, including exposure to dust and dirt.
- Willingness to wear required safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
