About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time, paid internship program. You will work directly with clients, starting by shadowing associates on phone calls before taking calls on your own. The program helps you build professional confidence and gain real-time experience in a client-facing environment. You will also participate in professional and financial development sessions, network with colleagues, and work on individual or group projects.
What you'll do#
- Shadow associates to learn how to handle client calls.
- Transition into taking your own calls to assist customers.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Participate in professional development webinars and financial literacy workshops.
- Network with leaders and other interns during onsite events.
- Complete assigned individual and group tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current undergraduate student who will return to your studies after the summer.
- You need to be available for the full 10-week program from June 7th, 2027, to August 13th, 2027.
- You should have a strong interest in financial services or pursuing FINRA licenses after graduation.
- You need the ability to handle various types of conversations and emotions while helping people.
- You should demonstrate empathy and clear communication skills.
- You must have a desire to build rapport with customers and your team.
Location & details#
This is an on-site role. It is available in the following cities: Merrimack, NH; Boston, MA; Greenwood Village, CO; Covington, KY; Westlake, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; Durham, NC; and Smithfield, RI. Fidelity does not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
