About the role#
The Statistics Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas collects data to support monetary policy, economic research, and supervision. As an intern, you will contribute to these efforts by ensuring data accuracy and supporting our regulatory responsibilities. This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in our Dallas office.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to check for accuracy and identify trends or developments.
- Research regulatory and accounting guidelines to ensure respondent compliance with banking policies and GAAP.
- Review current reporting processes and protocols to suggest improvements.
- Implement new analysis methods for report reviews.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and department briefings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SQL, R, Python, or SAS is preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
