About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is recruiting for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This Business Generalist role provides exposure to various divisions within the Bank. Interns will work on projects that support our business areas and gain insight into future entry-level opportunities. You will participate in networking events, Leadership Q&As, and development sessions.
What you'll do#
Your work will vary based on the specific department you support. Responsibilities include:
- Support HR talent management programs, including career and leadership development.
- Assist with month end processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Act as an assisting auditor by interviewing clients, reviewing support, and documenting workpapers.
- Support the Customer Relationship Management application project and contribute to technology, operations, and risk projects.
- Assist the Facilities team with vendor management, process enhancements, and business analytics.
- Help with departmental projects related to banking conditions and supervision trends, including participation in field assignments.
- Create PowerBI dashboards, automate workflows, and use process mapping tools to improve efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, specifically majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
- Analytical skills and a strong interest in business, accounting, HR, or information systems.
- Proficiency or interest in tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, PowerAutomate, or Visio.
- Ability to submit both a resume and a cover letter that details your specific areas of interest and relevant experience.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Format: Hybrid, 35 hours per week.
- Term: 9 weeks, from June 7th to August 6th, 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
