About the role#
Extreme Engineering Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to help develop embedded computing products for rugged environments. You will work on projects for industrial, military, and aerospace customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Verona, Wisconsin, spanning the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. This position is paid and requires taking a semester off from school.
What you'll do#
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings for product design.
- Support design verification through experimental testing.
- Perform simulation and data analysis to address thermal and structural challenges.
- Contribute to the production of embedded computing systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools like Creo, Solidworks, or NX.
- Completion of or current enrollment in Heat Transfer coursework.
- Experience using Python scripts for data analysis.
- Background in mechanical testing or microscopy.
