About the role#
Extreme Engineering Solutions is looking for a student to join our IT team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Verona, Wisconsin. We offer opportunities for Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 terms. You will gain hands-on experience by managing the hardware and software lifecycle for our internal workstations.
What you'll do#
- Manage the full lifecycle of Windows and Linux workstations, including imaging, deployment, repairs, and software updates.
- Write Chocolatey packages to standardize software installations on Windows machines.
- Provide direct IT support to end users regarding workstations, web applications, and networking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Information Technology field.
- Experience with Windows system administration.
- A working knowledge of basic network technologies.
- The ability to organize competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with Linux, networking, or ticket management systems is helpful.
