About the role#
Extreme Engineering Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to support our manufacturing department. You will assist various teams by applying mechanical engineering and 3D design practices to continuous improvement projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Verona, Wisconsin. We offer terms for Winter/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027. This position requires students to take a semester off from their studies to accommodate the schedule.
What you'll do#
- Design jigs, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical systems to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Execute equipment qualification tasks.
- Perform parametric modeling, additive manufacturing, and production-level fabrication.
- Conduct engineering analysis and design testing to verify implementation.
- Develop novel design solutions to support product design and manufacturing processes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Industrial Engineering.
- A specific interest in Design or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the co-op program.
