About the role#
Eversource Energy is hiring an Engineering Intern for the Asset Management Technology team for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on maintaining technical records and supporting asset management processes for transmission lines and substations across our service region. You will work with Engineering, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and support capital program initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain technical records for the organization.
- Coordinate with internal departments to apply consistent asset management processes.
- Update and manage various asset management databases.
- Create reports and prepare presentations to support team objectives.
- Support internal self-assessments to verify the accuracy of asset information.
- Assist with emergency restoration efforts if required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- Strong communication skills, including experience with public speaking and writing.
- Ability to build and manage databases using Microsoft Access and Excel, including user interfaces.
- Experience with SQL, Visual Basic, or similar programming is helpful.
- A focus on process improvement and a high level of personal accountability.
