About the role#
We are looking for an HR Intern to support our Talent Acquisition team in Berlin, Connecticut. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers practical experience in a corporate HR environment. You will assist with daily operations, compliance tasks, and administrative projects while helping us maintain accurate records in Workday.
What you'll do#
- Audit and correct I-9 forms in Workday to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including drug screens and background checks.
- Manage a high volume of cases with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the team.
- Provide general administrative support for hiring and onboarding processes.
- Assist with data entry and employee record maintenance.
What you'll need#
- A recent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- A genuine interest in building a career within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Prior experience in HR, compliance, or administrative roles is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
