About the role#
The Human Resources Assistant Intern supports the HR team with recruitment, employee relations, training, and daily operations. This role offers practical experience in human resource management for students or recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Post jobs on various platforms and screen incoming resumes.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct initial phone interviews with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
- Maintain employee records, databases, and HR documentation.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and report preparation.
- Help answer employee questions about company policies.
- Organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Identify training needs and keep track of training records.
- Research HR trends and assist with special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to pass an e-Verify background check and a drug and alcohol screen.
