About the role#
As a Peer Financial Coach Intern, you will support fellow students on their financial journeys. This role focuses on building leadership and communication skills while helping others develop healthy financial habits. You will work on campus to make a positive impact through mentorship and service.
What you'll do#
- Provide confidential peer coaching on topics like budgeting and debt awareness.
- Help students build sustainable financial habits.
- Promote financial wellness on campus using events, flyers, and social media.
- Work with Everence and Malone staff during on-campus workshops and events.
- Attend training and reflection sessions to improve your communication and service skills.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree.
- You are a thoughtful person who enjoys supporting others one-on-one.
- You listen well and communicate clearly.
- You have experience in roles like tutoring, mentorship, or student leadership.
- You are exploring career paths in fields such as business, education, ministry, counseling, or coaching.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Archbold, Ohio.
- The role is part-time, requiring 10 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
- The term lasts for two semesters, totaling 30 weeks.
