About the role#
Ericsson is seeking a co-op student to join the Business Unit Networks team in Ottawa. This role focuses on developing tools and key performance indicators for virtualized RAN solutions. You will work on DevOps infrastructure and contribute to product development over a 12 to 16 month term starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop Web 2.0 frontend and backend services for DevOps dashboards.
- Manage CI/CD infrastructure and test automation.
- Work with Kubernetes, pods, and edge or far edge containers.
- Write product and test code that improves DevOps infrastructure.
- Use tools like React, Angular, HTML, PHP, CSS, and Git.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering program.
- Minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Linux and databases like ElasticSearch.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Availability for a 12-16 month commitment.
