About the role#
We are looking for an AI & Data Science Intern to support our analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives. You will work with data to uncover insights, build analytical models, and explore AI-driven solutions to improve business processes. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience with machine learning, Generative AI, and data visualization while working alongside data, engineering, and business professionals.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis, reporting, and AI/ML projects.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Support the development, testing, and evaluation of machine learning and predictive analytics models.
- Build and improve data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Apply Generative AI, Large Language Models, and AI-driven tools to solve business challenges.
- Develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Translate business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
- Participate in proof-of-concept projects involving AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation initiatives.
- Document findings and communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply best practices in data science, machine learning, responsible AI, and data governance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data science, machine learning, analytics, and AI technologies.
- Basic knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and AI concepts.
- Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, or AI agents.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI technologies, or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Understanding of APIs and data integration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#.NET, Java, or PHP.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
