About the role#
We are looking for an AI & Data Analytics Intern to help build a predictive supply chain risk assessment tool. You will work with internal enterprise data and external market intelligence to create solutions that forecast supply chain disruptions. This role focuses on turning complex data into insights that help planners manage risks before they impact operations.
What you'll do#
- Integrate internal metrics like lead times, supplier performance, and inventory levels with external data such as geopolitical risks, weather events, and commodity prices.
- Design, train, and validate predictive machine learning models, including risk scoring, time-series forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Build functional prototypes or dashboards to make model outputs useful for supply chain teams.
- Analyze macro-market trends to engineer features that improve model accuracy.
- Present model logic, accuracy benchmarks, and insights to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field, with a graduation date no later than December 2029.
- Proficiency in Python or R, along with libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for creating user interfaces.
- An understanding of logistics, lead times, procurement dynamics, and risk factors.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work with independent initiative.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position follows a rolling term structure.
