About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to work on various civil transportation projects, such as highway and bridge engineering. You will gain experience across the transportation infrastructure field while working under direct supervision. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Apply engineering principles to prepare design calculations and technical reports.
- Assist other teams with structure design, water resources, and traffic projects.
- Support staff members with daily tasks.
- Use engineering software and equipment to complete project assignments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Completion of at least one year of study in a qualified program.
- Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
